State Championships??

Sorry for not posting in a few days!

Thing is, it's been hectic, due to the fencing state championships! It was INSANE and I think I almost had a heart attack a few times there. Good news: We fenced for the bronze, and won, and the boys fenced for gold, and won. I personally did not get a chance to be on the strip (Which I'm a tad angry about; I'm better than the worst starter by about 100%. Sadly my coach doesn't really notice me.) Anyway we got home really, really late so I'm skipping class today. Those were the most stressful hours EVER. I'm sure it will be worse next year, when we fence for the gold. (We will! It'll be awesome!)

So that's why I haven't been posting. Here are photos from the event.

In Need of Camera Work

Well, I'm quite sorry about the quality of the pictures today, I was quite rushed this morning and simply couldn't do it this afternoon, seeing as how when I return to a place with a camera, I am sweaty and sporting the latest fencing wear. So I am working on that, and tomorrow I'm sure the results will be much better!

Being a Monday, I like to present a more professional image, but by the end of the week it usually degrades into jeans and a comfy sweater. So, I went with a nice purple button up and a lovely professional dress with the A-line that I'm really fond of.

It's starting to get a bit warmer, and I'm glad for that- Spring is the best season!

A Small Introduction

So, hello there!
I'm not quite sure exactly what I'm supposed to open with, but here's my best shot.

My name is Abigail. I am a fencer, and am a nerd in practically every way but my style. I have a love affair with suits of every kind, and a fondness for red lipstick. I am inspired by many things, from Japanese street style to the dapper gentleman of the Victorian age. I read constantly, and I cannot pick a favourite. I am rather obsessed with the BBC- I think it's a bit unhealthy, actually. I want to be an editor at Vogue someday, and my ideal college is Central Saint Martins. I know that it's really hard to get a job in fashion these days, so  I'm starting out here by blogging my life. I mean, it's not like I'm going to be writing about highschool because I'm sure that's not interesting, but you know, trips and funny things that happened, and, of course, my clothing.

So yes, this is me, and I hope to have a wonderful time here!
