Backtracking

I'm on a backlog of outfit posts at the moment, so bare with me! It's been really busy lately, so I've been taking pictures but not posting them. I don't think the next few posts will have much to say....

I have found that when in doubt, the classic boots-tights-dress-cardigan combination is always a winner, no matter what the situation. It's hard to go wrong with such a simple look, especially if one keeps to a fairly cohesive colour palette. I don't know how well it would work in neon (probably really cool, but difficult to pull off) so I generally keep my choices fairly neutral, with a pop of colour, such as these lovely tights. This season I'm really starting to love bright leg wear- it adds a nice bit of colour without being too overwhelming.

Whirling Dervish

This skirt is incredibly warm, and is amazingly fun to wear! Its very full, which makes spinning practically irresistible. I was kind of on the fence about buying this, but once I saw it had pockets, it sealed the deal. Full mid-length skirts is one of my favourite fall trends- pants get boring after a while but these still keep your legs warm! I highly recommend Modcloth's- they are very high quality and super cute!
