We're slowly getting back in the swing of things as summer ends...
I've been doing ballet classes recently, and I highly recommend it for anyone who can find them! I know it can be really difficult if you're over the age of about six, but once I put in some time I found this lovely recreational class and it's absolutely amazing! Ballet works ALL of your muscles, and stretches them out, leaving you very much tired after a class even when it hasn't seemed to be that much work. It's a lot better for your body than pounding the pavement or the treadmill and ruining your knees! Another plus is that you get to do pretty dancing and listen to pretty music. Really, the only problem is finding a suitable class for your skill level and age group. A warning: make sure not to do balletic moves alone and without having had proper instruction! You could seriously injure yourself!
Anyway, it's a great workout.
